Plot
Summary:
The point
when Walt Disney's little girls beseeched him to make a motion picture of their
most loved book, P.l. Travers' Mary Poppins (1964), he made them a guarantee -
one that he didn't understand might take 20 years to keep. In his journey to
get the rights, Walt comes up against a curmudgeonly, uncompromising scholar
who has truly no aim of giving her a chance to cherished mystical caretaker get
battered by the Hollywood machine. Be that as it may, as the books quit
undercutting and cash develops, Travers reluctantly consents to go to Los
Angeles to hear Disney's arrangements for the adjustment. For those two short
weeks in 1961, Walt Disney hauls out all the stops. Outfitted with inventive
storyboards and chirpy melodies from the capable Sherman siblings, Walt
launches a hard and fast assault on P.l. Travers, yet the thorny creator
doesn't move. He soon starts to watch powerlessly as Travers gets to be
progressively enduring and the rights start to move further far from his grip.
